Watch This And NEVER Miss In The Net Again

Forehands into the net often come from a tight grip and a high paddle tip that chops down on the ball. Soften the grip so the tip hangs below the hand, point the butt-cap at the ball so you get under it, and load the legs — push into the ground then explode up through contact. Standing tall leads to swinging down; bent legs let you lift.

Action items

  • Soft grip so the paddle tip falls below the hand before contact
  • Point the butt-cap at the incoming ball to stay under it
  • Load and push off the legs instead of swinging down from a tall stance
